PatioSun Max turns any sunny patio, garden or private space into a small power station.

Two bifacial panels on a sleek fold out stand feed an 800W Hoymiles HiFlow Pro microinverter that plugs into your home's electrics — the electricity goes straight to whatever's running right now: the fridge, the router, the kettle, the heat pump. You buy less from your supplier.

In a typical UK year the Max generates roughly 600 kWh, which at 30p/kWh is about £180 back in your pocket, every year, for the next 25.

Why do we include panels with more power than the inverter?

The panels are deliberately oversized. Real-world UK conditions — cloud, haze, low winter sun — mean panels rarely hit their lab rating. Oversizing keeps the inverter working at full output for more hours of the day, which is where the extra power actually comes from.

Shipping & delivery

We are a small batch manufacturer so to keep costs down for the customer, we produce batches to order based on weekly sales volumes. This means your kit is made especially for you, with its own unique serial number and quality control documentation to ensure each kit is as perfect as we hope. Due to this, we are currently 10-14 days for delivery.

Delivery of the kits are via a 3rd party company who will arrive as a two person crew to safely offload your kit and place it in your garden, at ground floor level. On arrival they will assess where you want the kit and how to safely get there, and will do our best to accommodate your requests where it is safe to do so. As a complete kit it weighs as much as a typical human being (85kg+), so opening and splitting down the pack into manageable chunks is often the best way to get your equipment placed.

Is this kit plug in safe?

Yes, all our kits on sale have been approved by ENA Connect as being compliant to the latest plug in solar regulations and recommendations - so any products on our site meet these regulations.

What do I need to do?

Make sure you’ve enough room to place these. As they sit horizontally on the ground, they occupy the sort of space that a small 2 seater sofa might fit into - 1.8m (just under 6ft) long by about 1m deep (3.3ft) by 1.2m high (4ft) per panel  - you might want to consider a one panel system like our Lite or Lite Plus 

Make sure you’ve a safe outside socket within 5m of the inverter on the back of the panel. If you need a longer lead don’t use extensions, please purchase a 10m lead from us in our online store or have an electrician fit an outside socket nearer your new power plant!

Order the kit - you’ll get an acknowledgement straight away and we will schedule your kit into production, assign your serial number and start your quality file.

Delivery shipped notification - please work with us and our couriers to be home for smooth delivery right where you want it

Day of delivery - unbox, clip together, connect to WiFi and register the app and watch the energy start to be generated into your home. Savings from minute 1!

Follow up - you will need to register your kit online with your local DNO (distribution network operator) - and use the kit reference in the box with your kit to select the correct plug in solar kit purchased from the drop down on the website.
